Role Description

This is a contract-based, remote Data Engineer role. The Data Engineer will be responsible for designing, building, and implementing data systems and pipelines to support business and analytical needs. Key responsibilities include developing ETL processes, designing data models and warehouses, and analyzing complex datasets. The role also involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless data integration and optimize data pipelines for efficiency and reliability.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Data Engineering, including designing and building scalable data pipelines
• Extensive and proven experience in Databricks is a big pro
• Strong skills in Data Modeling, Data-Products and Data Warehousing to create and maintain efficient data solutions
• Experience with Extract, Transform, Load (ETL) processes for large datasets
• Competency in Data Analytics, with the ability to derive actionable insights from complex data
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively in a remote team environment
